Delete your EpiTrack account
This page explains how to delete your account in the EpiTrack app (developer: Advanced Coding Enterprise LLC) and what happens to your data.
Option 1 – in the app (immediate)
- Open EpiTrack and sign in.
- Go to Settings and tap Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion. If you signed in with Apple, you may be asked to confirm with Apple once more so that we can revoke the Apple sign-in.
Your account is deleted immediately and you receive a confirmation email.
Option 2 – by email
If you no longer have the app, send an email to privacy@epitrack.eu from the email address of your account with the subject “Delete my EpiTrack account”. We may ask you to confirm the request. We delete the account within 30 days at the latest and confirm by email.
Deleting only some data
You do not have to delete the whole account: episodes, documents, medications, patient profiles, assistants and the medical card can each be deleted separately in the app.
What is deleted
- Your account: name, email, phone, password and sign-in with Google or Apple;
- All episodes, symptoms and triggers, the medical card, medications and reminders, documents and photos, patient profiles and their photos;
- Your assistants, and your entries as an assistant in other users’ accounts;
- Push notification devices, notification settings and confirmation codes.
Data is removed from our live systems immediately and from backups within 30 days.
What is kept, and for how long
- Subscription records (transaction identifiers, product, dates) – without your name, email or diary data, for up to 5 years for accounting, refunds and disputes;
- Shop orders and accounting documents – for the period required by the Bulgarian Accountancy Act (up to 10 years);
- Emails that were already sent to assistants or report recipients are in their mailboxes and cannot be recalled by us.
Important: cancel your subscription
Deleting the account does not cancel an EpiTrack Premium subscription. Cancel it in the App Store (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions) or Google Play (Profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions), otherwise Apple or Google will continue to charge you.
